  • I love this thread, really nice work.
I don't have my own scanner, so bad at scanning, but here are two of my favourite infrared shots I did taken on Efke IR 820 B&W 120 film in a Bronica. set to F4, between 2 to 8 seconds, tripod, overcast sunny day at about 2/3pm in the afternoon.
With a Lee 57 visually opaque filter. These filters are fun, there are lots of choices.
Film was dev'd at 20deg for 10 mins with FD10.. a lot of trail and error, I lost 2 films before this just trying to develop it. One film also fell out of my camera- it was bright green.
Infrared is really great film to work with. That place in Waterloo does loads for alright prices. What's it called? I can't remember.. silvermount? something like that.

  • Nice ones Ethel, I'd really
Love to give infraRed a go one time.

  • Yea infrared is fun somehow.
I like the first one, Ethel.

  • Portra 160 / Nikon 50 1.4

  • Provia 100F / Pentax 28 3.5

  • That's a cracking combo, good price too if memory serves me right

  • Agfa Vista 200 / Nikon L35AF

  • Well if anyone wants to pay more for it don't expect much resistance from me! I got a pretty good deal for the combo so I wouldn't be making a huge loss. Plus there'd be no ebay fees or any of that faff... I'd be happier passing the bargain on to teh forumz and seeing the results of its use on here.

  • Finally got my first ever roll of film from my Rolleiflex developed. Most are awful, but got a couple of OK ones. This is one of Bethnal Green.

  • Pentax espio mini - film???

    Yea!
I have one; it's definately more fragile than a Mju-II, but very nice.
Lens is good, same league as Mju-II or maybe a bit sharper. Not as fast though (3.5 vs. 2.8).
It's 32mm (as opposed to the standard of 35mm with compacts), and has that retarded "panorama" mode also.
AF is more easily confused by parallel lines compared to other pocket cameras.

    Hehe, like that one!
Keep thinking it would be "better" if you had stepped a bit closer though.

I'd be happy to take this off your hands, but really can't spend on any more cameras right now
    :(

  • Agfa CT Precisa / Pentax Espio Mini

  • I am inclined to agree, however it's pretty good that the QR code on the shop sign is in there, I like it for sense of time/year etc..

  • TK - you need to put a book together.
Brucy - that is dope (straight out of Wild Style!).
Ethel - those are really cool!

  • TK - you need to put a book together.

    Thanks. I will.
Actually I was pondering again on making a photo "zine" the other day.
I think I mentioned it a while back in this thread; that it would be nice to have a "LFGSS Photo Zine".
Feedback was null I think, well maybe the idea is dumb as nobody would actually need / buy it (I would).

  • Agfa Vista Plus 200

  • id buy it too

  • Would be a nice document though, bit like the poster?

  • What poster?

  • +1 for zine

I wanted to put a roll of film through a new body really quickly and I decided it would be a good time to give in and buy a roll of lomochrome purple (lol) from the stack that stares me in the face every time I go to the shop. It sucks (big surprise) and all the pictures would be better with proper film but the camera is great and was cheap so it's all good.

  • zine is a great idea
