Both unis, civic centre and the central station. Also used the railings outside Gotham town as my bike blends in like a terrified chameleon.

It's been officially confirmed that there will be a new velodrome built in Middleborough. It's going to be a 250m outdoor track in Prissick to be completed by spring 2015

Still not a good enough reason to go to Middlesbrough.

Is the skate plaza still in Prissick? It was amazing till they decided to put fences around it, charge you to skate and make you wear a helmet.
I'm assuming the Velodrome will be in the same area so hopefully it wont be ran by the same people/company.

If you don't mind the walk, Newcastle med schools nice and safe, but half a mile from monument, otherwise Robertson library, there are so many poorly locked bikes and bikes left there for eternity that a properly locked up and picked up bike is unlikely to get pinched.

Can anyone recommend me a bike shop?
-
• #764
Depends what you are after really - all shops have their good and bad points! Parts or service?
-

Just need a BB popped out while I wait?
-
• #766
I imagine 'while you wait' service will be hard to find at this time of year as everyone seems really busy? I could be wrong. Unless it is really stuck in you are probably better off borrowing a tool doing it yourself.
If it is one of these I may be able to help you out...

Wow
There are racks in the Dean St car park, I've locked there a few times.
It is true that no location is safe but I always try to find somewhere out of the way of passing pedestrians at night to avoid casual vandalism and somewhere busy during the day to avoid it getting stolen.
My bike is never locked up for more than an hour or so, so I don't really have and favourite spots. Central station is/was a good one but I'm less keen now they have moved them all further down the platform. The locks on Saville Row are good when I'm in town, undercover, visible from Northumberland Street but not in the way of people passing by, 8/10, would lock again.
