• Sorry for the delay. Mixed news, not been able to locate the frame number records yet but probably not needed in this case.

Firstly the frame is built by Donohue, not all Graham Weigh frames were built by him but this one is. It is a common design that was sold by Graham and were very popular at the time

As for it being Wiggos world championship winning frame, we don't think it is.

However on the plus side we do think it is wiggos frame. After winning the junior championships Graham asked Donohue to make another frame for Wiggo. Graham designed the yellow paint scheme in the picture you posted to celebrate the win. It is intended to be chequered flags and was chosen for publicity reasons. As a sideline Donohue hated the paint job but it would appear that the picture you have is the original one off paintwork. If you wanted to restore it that is the design to turn it back to.

Sadly I can't tell you what the components were as Donohue most likely only supplied the frame and forks. Neither can I tell you with certainty if it was raced. That said if you can find races soon after the championship win it would could well be this bike. If you can find a photograph of Wiggo at that time on a yellow frame its your bike. A bit of digging may be worth a go.

So, congratulations on having a one off frame made for wiggo even if its not the championship winning frame.
