Aye. It's meant to give alu a hard time if left too long but I've just cleaned up some 50s record bits (seatpost and headset) and it got surface rust off within 12 hours.
A bit of fettling with concentration/timings will produce better results, I guess.
I'm just gutted I didn't hear about it sooner. It would have saved me loads of time with silver foil.
Btw, concentration is something like 5g per litre. A kg is £6 or so. Shit is cheap, yo.

So it works? I've never tried, just saw a chromed BMX done somewhere on the internest sometime ago.
