I'm selling some hardware to fund velodrome time, new track bike and wife's birthday. First up is my Jen:
First off, she is Italian, but no campagnolo parts will be included! She was manufactured around the late 70's and is a hybrid of 1 x 3 waveform dco and analogue circuitry. This means you don't get the tuning issues associated with a wandering vco when it warms up, but still get a 12db analogue low pass filter plus some cool modulation options.
Now, she is getting on, her pots are a bit crackly and sometimes 1 or two notes miss-trigger the envelope on release, but she is definitely playable and I've used her on a couple of albums with no issues (had her around 15 years myself). Perhaps a good spray of servicol will correct contact issues, but I've not stripped her back to fully assess.
Was modded to accept a line in source also, pre envelope and filter, using the noise selector switch.
Wooden cheeks are scuffed, coloured caps are missing and some light scratches/paint spots on the metal work, also the keyboard has lifted slightly to the right but has always been like this as long as I've owned her and doesn't effect function. White balance on the camera is off, the plastic has not yellowed as badly as appears in the photo.
