  • I'm not saying it's not an extraordinary amount of money. £200,000 is a fucking huge salary for anyone. However, a quick Google, and I mean real quick so if I'm wrong, then feel free to correct me, their non charity counterparts working for a company that takes in more than $20,000,000 a year would be earning more. If you want to hire people with good experience, you can't offer a 10% of the salary from for-profit and expect people to do it out of the goodness of their hearts. There just isn't enough good people in the world with the right type of experience. Would they have made $24,000,000 revenue last year without spending $12,000,000?

But how much of that $24,000,000 would have been dontated to other charities had ALS not been chasing it so effectively ? I actually have no idea, but I expect the answer isn't none.
