Got this built up the other day, bought it after being let down by a local framebuilder, it rides so good, probably the stiffest feeling frame iv ridden.

exactly, I do prefer this more conventional clamp than the newer style one

No biggy, he was just real busy and after waiting a few months after the due date, he still hadn't had chance to start it yet, and I was in a rush to get a bike built up.

No not atall, hes a cool guy and understood I was in a rush, so it was all good.
