Read that United were possibly looking at Carvalho, which would be a start defensively

now to get Cleverly off to Villa...
I'm not sure how this will play out. There's a chance he could flourish at Villa, but £8m is all our cash so it's a big gamble. He might just be as shit as you think. Given how Utd seem to have jumped at the offer, it seems we will have overpaid. Still - not a done deal yet...

Cleverly is a decent player who wasn't alone in suffering at United last season. Henderson has come good; I think Cleverly can as well.

He looked good at Wigan under Martinez, but it's never happened for him with us, but I'm not sure that's down to not being able to flourish. He's had the game time to prove himself and has always come up short. But then maybe he'll see whichever team he transfers to as a chance to rebuild his career , who knows? I'll just be glad to see the back of him

Spurs have gotten Stambouli. Bargain of the transfew window so far at £4.7m

told ya ;)

Looks like Southampton have been absolutely mugged for Taider, he's leaving them without playing a game. Always thought it was strange that they loaned Osvaldo out instead of cashing in.

Cabella for £8m doesn't look bad business either. The Ligue 1 goldmine has got to be nearly dry by now surely?

Wondering whose out to make space for stambouli? Think the dm most likely to leave is Sandro, which I am sad about...

Scholes questioning United's move for Blind but for me it makes total sense. He can play in multiple positions, all of which are where United lack cover. Good signing for me.
Di Maria is starting today.

Yup Cabella too. Newcastle have done really good business. Janmaat and De Jong for £12m the pair and Riviere looks alright for £5m
-
• #110017
Yup what a fucking balls up, why didn't they go for Kuzmanovic or Hernanes etc
-
• #110018
Blind is a good signing IMHO

Here we go then, looking forward to seeing DiMaria in the PL.
Also loving the look of Uniteds Championship level defence, this is going to be an interesting game.

Agger back to Norway. Strange one, anyone care to explain, or has he pulled a fast one on Liverpool and we'll see him back in the Prem in the next transfer window?
-
• #110021
He's behind Lovren in the pecking order now so wanted to leave and said he would only go back to his old club, didn't want to go anywhere else.
-
• #110022
Still can't get a win
-
• #110023
Fucking hell we were shit... Long ball no midfield, no width, so easy to defend against.
Woeful... But at least it can only get better.

First of all: Denmark. We'll get Norway back at some point, though. Reports from the Danish press say Liverpool gets first pick of any talent from Brøndby in the future and Agger can't just move on to any club he would wish. Rumours have it that he never wanted to play for anyone else than LFC and his childhood club, Brøndby. Combined with few games in the coming season, a lot of injuries and some have guessed at homesickness, that has sealed the deal. A local sponsor has given Brøndby the money for the tranfer as the clubs 50 year birthday present.

Alex Song flying in to join West Ham on loan.
His career going from strength to strength...
As much as I would love that to be true, they are just too big to permanently be put down, there just needs to be a lot of rework
