I've been having an absolute cunt of a time with slipping stems. First the grammo wouldn't hold the nittos, then the italmanburi wouldn't hold the nittos and damaged them, then replaced with piega which the italmanburi also damaged (clamp previously deformed and pinching in the middle) thought fuck it and bought a trusty nitto stem, but it was hidden bolt and couldn't get it to open to get the next new pair of piegas in, had a good go at it yesterday and managed to get the bars in with some nuts/bolts/spacers a hammer and a giant screwdriver. Finally fucking in and not slipping! Retaped the bars with the tatty 4 th hand, and finally the build is sorted, with nothing left to resolve. What an absolute shitter it's been though.
