O.L.D.: rear 126mm (suitable for single speed and fixed) / front 100mm
Bottom bracket: 68mm Italian threaded (might require spacers)Can you confirm the above please: I'd expect a track bike to be 120mm at the rear and a 68mm BB shell is ISO, where as ITA is 70mm.

Yes, this is custom frame made this way.

Thanks.
Any idea why the BB shell was made this way? I can't think of a good reason.
Do you know what hubs/cranks were being used?

Interesting, was this company around in 1999? I've been in touch with them before and got the impression wittson as a brand was quite new (though the guy was building for other brands for a while)

The guy changed names lots of times. For a long time they were called 4T or Forti.
Then there was a name Victoria (or something like that) that came before 4T and it also had something to do with 4T.So this frame is definitely not a Wittson, but it must have been made by the same frame builder in the late 90's or early 00's.

"I can't think of a good reason either". The frame builder said "It must be 70mm" so either he doesn't remember or it got modified for some reason. 1mm spacers are not hard to come by so it's not a big problem. I used mavic elypse wheels cause they have a wider chainline. Hallowtec cranks also have a wider chainline. It can be a bit difficult to build this with classic track components, but it's quite easy using modern standard parts.

OK, thanks.
Like you say it's not a problem, just curious...
That Cherubim is fantastic!

Sorry, the link to Cherubim was added by fault. Anyway c'est fantastique

Ha! I did wonder, but assumed it was to illustrate the BB/crank/chainline solution...

Hello,
Wittson titanium track frame set for sale.
Only the frame and forks are included.
HISTORY
A custom made Wittson titanium frame from around 1999.
This is a custom frame made for a track cyclist who used it on the track.
About Wittson Custom TI Cycles (info from http://www.wittson.com):
Already well known as a frame-builder for COLNAGO, Vidmantas “Vitas” Zukauskas has been building best-selling frames from the mid-90s, going by the names Monotitan, Ovaltitan, Ovalmaster, Master BiTitan, CT1, etc. These works of master craftsmanship are broadly recognized and their quality speaks for itself. As COLNAGO moved on to Asia and carbon frame production, Vitas continued to specialize in ti frame building for other brands, including ARGON18, RED BULL, VAN TUYL etc. Over time, Vitas has become more and more well known as a master in ti frame building with worldwide orders from cyclists that value craftsmanship. His son has become involved in ti frame building and they have embarked on a new journey with WITTSON. These are bespoke tailor-made frames built to last a lifetime.
ABOUT THIS FRAME
This frame is made from titanium aero over sized tubing and is very light.
Supplied with ISAAC 004 carbon fork with alloy steerer (front brake compatible).
28c tire clearance makes this frame perfect for an urban single speed or fixed gear bike.
WEAR & DAMAGE
This frame set was used only on track.
It is in very good condition with some minor scuffs and scratches here and there.
Only one very minor ding on the left seat stay near the "rear bridge". I tried my best to show it in pics but it's hardly noticeable.
Some paint has come off around the crown of the forks and drop outs (please see pics).
