I checked this out a while back. Comparitively, the execs don't get much more than many other organisations that size. (There is obviously room for huge debate here!) And their services include lobbying, support, education etc..
The animal testing is completely not shocking given the nature of the disease.
Personally I would donate to a different charity.

Doesn't need to be shocking for me to want nothing to do with it.

"
Of course, it's possible the dog escaped being run over and was merely laying down or rolling over, with a final zoomed image image showing it lying in the opposite direction…
"Didn't expect clickbait from the Indy.

No I'm with you there. Just saying people that donated then jumped up in shock are a little dense

A while ago, my friend back home in the US of America bought a super stupid
gunrifle . He was in the hunt for a scope which lead to some reading of some pretty 'specialized' fora. This post amazed us both in its out-of-handedness. What a horrible, horrible, scared, life:I have been very happy with this rifle to say the least, However one
night I was staying in a motel while on the road for work when some
"pillars of our community" decided to gather outside my hotel room.
That night I had my SPR with me so as a precaution I decided if I had
to address these guys I would rather do it with a rifle then with the
SiG P226 I CCW. This is when reality struck me… I removed the bipod
from the rifle, seated a 30 rd mag loaded with M193, and dialed the
glass down to its lowest setting- 3X…I instantly knew this was no bueno! I didn't want to get into a gun
fight in a hotel room with a 3X scope on my rifle! So I removed the
scope (Thank you Mark LaRue), deployed my Troy sights, Mounted my
SureFire M600 and called it good…No one needed to be ventilated that night but I thought it was BS that
I had to remove an optic from an AR-15 to use it as a QCB weapon!I have found the solution- The US Optics SR-8C!
I commented on it elsewhere back when we first read it, but recent current events have reminded me of that. Also when I was just back in the states I held my friend's 5k of ridiculousness (euph).
At any rate, my friend and that poster are both great arguments for gun control. A special range that rents guns and lets you shoot them in a controlled environment isn't so much even if tragic accidents occur.

I was in India a few weeks ago and we ran over a dog in a taxi back home to the hotel. My and my mate just looked at each other as to confirm if what just happened actually happened. None of the indian guys even batted an eyelid.

I wouldn't be keen on 9 year olds fucking about with hang gliders either, especially if those hang gliders weren't just daft ways to fly around in a way that is very difficult to hurt others but were hang gliders that had a tendency to kill and maim loads of other people both on purpose and accidentally.

Can you get fully auto hang gliders? I'm in.

i don't know, that doesn't feel right to me for some reason. i think the lesson is not to react instantly and label the parents idiots, just let people get on and do what they want to do. tragedy for the girl and her parents.

(Not saying youre advocating a sentence.)
Why bang up a 77 year old? Or a 27 year old if it was indeed a tragic accident?
Crime and Prevention trumps Crime and Punishment surely. -
• #21071
Tragic accident? Hitting someone on a zebra crossing with enough force to kill doesn't sound like a tragic accident.
-
• #21072
Oh and what is wrong with punitive sentence?
-

Yes, I doubt he meant to run a complete stranger over. To me her death was accidental.
What do you think it sounds like?I don't believe in punishment for it's own sake. I think action to prevent future occurance should take priority over action to punish.

To me her death was accidental.
Stubbing a toe is accidental.
Propelling 2 tonnes of steel into another person is wilfully negligent.

accidents, by definition, are unavoidable.
as i say, i am only spouting the half formed gobbets of info i've gleaned offa twatterz and sundry other intarstens sources. if i was going to do it, i'd like to know where my cash is going tbh.
