You think you're annoyed now, but wait till 4.30 in the morning when he wakes you up to go outside and squit that lot all over your garden.

Higgs and James are both in the house.
James is very unhappy about this state of affairs, and keeps trying to escape.
However, someone has filled the fat flap with logs.
-
• #5904
Hopefully James will realise that the kittens have now cleared out and things can go back to normal.

Smart dog.

There is a man on C4+1 now who CASTS ANDREX PUPPIES FOR A LIVING!

Did anyone go to the Paw Pageant at Spitalfields on Monday? We saw a few denim coated dogs there hats, thankfully not double denim though ;)

Day 2.
Higgs is now a permanent resident of the laundry room, and James is constantly yowling to be let out.
-
• #5909
Oh dear. It all sounds very stressful. I presume you've tried Feliway? Might take the edge off?
-
• #5910
Your flat probably reeks of annoying little kittens. Have you tried using those Feliway products to calm down the adult cats?
-
• #5911
So cute. Were they watching the rain? Ada's got some big ears to grow in to!

• #5912
Or maybe what MM said :-/

just before the tv casting programme was a 1hr documentary about cats their behaviour and their senses
really fascinating programme .... blind cats / sighted cats leading blind dogs / a kitten that brought an autistic kid out of himself and helped him to speak
some really nice annecdotes and of course the star hamish mchamish the ginger owned by a whole town who regularly on a monday heads to the local hairdressers for s snooze and a trim -

Cat update #3, Higgs remains in the laundry, sitting on the window-will when feeling brave, and then sitting on a shelf in the cupboard when feeling otherwise.
James continues to pace the house looking for a route out - the question being whether he wants to patrol his territory, or whether he wants to go and have his second dinner at Thief Of James house.

The kittens are beating the shit out of each other. Is this normal?
Ada attacks Newton. They then wrestle until Newton gets the upper hand and goes too far, which results in Ada hissing like a snake then zooming off, only for the process to repeat two minutes later.
It's funny the first ten times, then gets a bit scary / weird.

They're defective. Take them back and demand a refund!
-
• #5921
Seriously though, they're fine. Cats like to establish a pecking order quite early in life.
So long as they're not doing each other any real damage ( blood everywhere ), they'll settle down once the top cat is established.

• #5922
And then the submissive one will start pissing everywhere.

Welcome to cats :-|

^ Oh yeah, then they'll start talking and establish a street gang O.o
Jalopy, now known as "The Hound of the Bastardvilles", managed to open our freezer door, pull open the frozen drawer (which Lizzie can't seem to do) and eat:
5 x frozen sausages
1lb mince
1x Beef and red wine pie, as far as I can make out.
and sits there wagging his tail when I get in...
