Recently saved my Dad from reluctantly chucking this during shed clear out. It's one of his old track racing frames from the 70s, definitely seen better days cosmetically but frame looks solid and has been stored indoors for last 35+ years and never crashed apparently so wondering if worth renovating for someone.
I know my Dad bought it lightly used in mid-70s from fellow racer, and bit of googling indicates produced in early 70s and one of first 300 handbuilt Reynolds 531 frames from Harry Hall in Manchester, as badge design was changed after that. Also has number 262 stamped on BB which appears to confirm this. Apparently the frames themselves were built by Bob Jackson around this time although can't confirm this for specific frame. Other than that all I know is it has track ends / horizontal dropouts, nice lugwork, is about 21" / 54cm seat tube (will confirm), was fully chromed once upon a time, and was built up to reasonable spec with Campag record hubs (which he's holding on to for now).
Any ideas what this would be worth / anyone keen? I have mate who's vaguely interested and is going to take it to armourtex for their opinion on whether ok for shot blasting / respraying, so guess any valuation / offers based on that being case.
