  • Pour them all into a keg..... job done.

  • Box cider is what you want. Preferably Black Dragon.
It'll have you frat boy wankers playing naked beer pong (or whatever the hell you get up to) in no time.

  • Thanks for the suggestions so far. To be honest, we actually just want a keg/cask. No gas cylinder or tap. That's what we were hoping would bring down the price. And just tap it using a hand pump.

  • .

  • It depends where you are. For our wedding weekend in Norfolk a few weeks ago I contacted local independent ale brewers and ended up getting 3 x 9 gallon kegs of Buffy's Bitter. The head brewer delivered, set up the kegs on wooden chocks, and we drank it pretty much how Bobbo says, right down to the cooling towel. He picked up the empty kegs and even a couple extra which he'd given us on sale or return in case we were super thirsty. This worked out at around £70 per keg, or just over a pund a pint. Fucking excellent beer btw if you are ever in that area.

If you only need a keg's worth of real ale, your much more likely to be offered - and better off with - polypins. Half keg sized beer in a box, like these. Quite a bit more pricey, but no set-up and nothing to return to the brewery.

If you want lager, get cans >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Red stripe is 440ml,
Which works out at 70.32 Pints.

    I allowed for spillage

  • OK wasn't sure I got my sums right hence the ninja edit!

  • Anyway...
    These are FRAT BROS!!!!!!!!

Don't they just drink each others piss at do's like this.

  • cans = shotgun = frat boy party.

  • I think a keg is worth more than just the beer inside it. It's about the effort of acquiring it, the history of it's nature, the skill in tapping and the anticipation as you await it's settlement before drinking and then... and only then... is it about the beer.

    doe/dough eyed

  • Thanks for this. Looking for some kegs for a wedding in Sept., but now looking at polypins. Although I take benjam's point.

  • After one for this weekend, preferably two mini-kegs, but somewhere I can pick-up in London as delivery will be a problem. Any ideas?

  • Camden brewery... full size ones.

    =profit?

  • ^ have done this before and they're wicked
