If a taser is stopped by a jumper then they would never have been introduced, besides, taser first then get the other guy to shoot or whatever, there is no defence for just shooting some guy who has a knife.

I knew a policeman from Aberdeen who was famous for being attacked by a junkie with a samurai sword and blocked the dude, then punched him so hard said junkie flew back through a plate glass window.
Only shitter was that in punching the greaser he skinned his knuckles and contracted some horrible virus that they had to fly someone in from the USA to cure after 9 months of being bed-ridden.
Still, back when men were men, cops weren't total trigger happy lunatics and all that.
#csb and all that too.

A taser will emit a much higher voltage burst on impact for the very reason of arcing across the gap created by clothing. Once the "circuit" is made, the voltage drops. Ergo, excuses excuses.

^^^^sorry whats the reason for not using a taser in this instance? Surely having the life of a number of coppers at danger is worth a taser?
He is a threat or are there rules around when a taser can be used? Which makes it a bit moot.

Supporters of bad cop raise more money than supporters of dead black kid because the former are rich racicsts. It's easy to discriminate when you're financially empowered.

fucking hell, some people are just irredeemable cunts. If the recipient of that money had any decency they'd donate it to the family of the victim(s).

^ we had an email circulated at work at UCLH hospital a week or two back inviting us to a lunchtime concert by a patient in his 80's who was having surgery that meant he'd never be able to sing again and wanted to sing for an audience for the last time. Fucking broke me.

This is just a little bit perfect. A range that fully recreates Desert Storm for 9-year old girls with fully automatic weapons. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, right, that.
