What sort or rear wheel fits 126?
6-speed. Mostly screw-on multiple freewheels, but the first generation freehubs were 126mm/6-speed. They were later used with 7-speed freewheels and cassettes with a narrower sprocket spacing.
DiaCompe make a 126mm freewheel hub http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/dia-compe-ene-touring-rear-hub-quick-release-126-mm-oln-prod26578/ and SJSC are your friends for 6-speed freewheels too, although you can't get the range of ratios we had back in the day.
6-speed freehubs are probably best avoided, as there is no support for them. Modern HG cassettes don't fit old UG freehubs without modification.
I've just bought a frame with 126mm spacing, track fork ends and a derailleur hanger.
What sort or rear wheel fits 126? Geared. I intend to run a single 49t chainring up front and a cassette out back.
Any help would be much appreciated
