get your shit sorted out. red star and cyrillic are russian not polish.
Did I state anywhere something contrary? Red star is a symbol of communism, and Poland has communist history with strong ties to russia/soviet block. Not that I support communist ideas or methods (my family suffered harshly during the time of communist regime in ex Yugoslavia). We don't want the spoil the topic or this beautiful build with politics though, so I am out of this discussion ;)

Poland has communist history with strong ties to russia/soviet block.
It's history of occupation and violence. Sorry if my reaction was a bit harsh, but red star is swastika equivalent to me.
So let's get back to the bike. -

Actually, not so much these days. Why?
https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXEEaVG - more pics here. This Rychtarski sort of happened in the meantime. I used the Remo headset and crankset and the plastic saddle for it so the Bio-Bike will have to go with WALJA crankset (more about it later), steel Romet headset and maybe a Concor? I don't know yet.
Anyway I managed to find JAR Look pedals I was talking about in the first post.
Originally, I wanted to use them with the Rychtarski but you can't adjust them AT ALL, so I don't want to kill myself while skidding. But for this project they're perfect.
Oh, and I found out that the russian disc wheel is called Juna.I really really wish the frame took a 650c in the front because I have the Colnago Del Tongo set :(

Your Takhion looks like a great project. Are they expensive/rare in Poland?
Good luck with all your builds. -
• #45
Thanks ;)
Takhions are extremely rare here. I'm pretty sure that officially it's the only Takhion in Poland. There was one on eBay not so long ago, but I don't know where it went. -

Well hope that builds up nicely. Definitely one I'd like to see your progress on on here. I like these purposeful, business like frames especially when they are left with original wear and tear like the ex-Russian Rossin complete bike that sold on Ebay last September.
Needs more red, white and eagle..
