  • Euston tap is worth a look although it may not fit your definition of 'pub'.

  • Bree Louise (though nearer Euston) is a lot more pub-like.

Came across an offy that sold Hitachino Nest so had to try a few.

    Red Rice Ale - delicious

Dai Dai IPA - amazing (v. nice IPA brewed with orange peel, doesn't taste of orange but has a splendid overall fruitiness)

Nipponia - remarkable (apparently made with a resurrected ancient type of yeast, and Sorachi Ace hops, almost has a hint of a wheat beer about it. Expensive but you should definitely definitely try it)

  • Euston Tap.

  • Flying scotsman..

    #guffaw

  • Thanks for the suggestions, didn't end up heading out in the end but I'll have to pay that euston tap a visit nonetheless :)

  • It's worth it. Also essentially surrounded by railing for bike-locking...

  • Forum EustonTapTrip ?

  • Used to work near it. Didn't visit near enough.

  • Brewdog yesterday.. Three Abstrakt, Stone Quad and some other stuff. Mostly very nice.

  • Seamcutter from some brewery in Poynton is lovely.

  • Cycle PS had some of Orbit Brewery's pale ale in. Orbit have just opened up off of Walworth Road. Was lovely, managed to drink the small supply they had.

  • I grabbed a bottle of Stones (think it was called) 'Sprocket Bier' the other day and finally drank the Molotov Cocktail I had in the fridge. Untappd got a hammering this week.

  • If anyone comes across a London shop stocking Hoppiness by the Moor Brewing Company, please let me know. THanks.

  • 'Murica, fuck yeah.

  • Euston Tap is an awful place to drink. I admire their menu, but the venue is shit, completely not fit for purpose, and coming down that narrow metal spiral staircase, after being in the miserable windowless room up above, after you've had a few, is potentially lethal. The downstairs has all the atmosphere of a Costa, rubbish seating, and a very small ledge to perch your beers on. Avoid.

  • Totally missing the point. Outside is where it's at.

  • You're right I've missed the point, I should always go to a pub for the bit outside, especially when it's next to a busy bus station.

  • And I can hang out with the smokers too.

  • A night drinking chinook brewed by the brew company. Really hoppy 3.8 session beer. I'd definitely recomend.

  • It's not really a pub though is it? It's a bar that sells craft and imported beer. They have outside seating and you can order in pizzas. Once we'd nabbed a table we never had issues with smokers because it's like outside man. Anyway, there's plenty of Proper Pub™ options elsewhere.

  • ^ this.

Adnams Jack Brand Innovation tonight, as it was on offer in Tesco. Pretty good, not as much character as their Mosaic.

Now back on the Revisionist Saison (£1.25 a 500ml bottle!). Lush.

  • starting at the ET tonight, moving (slowly) south west

  • Lunch:
    Bierschenke Weissbier
    Hacker Pschorr Dunle Weiss
    Thurn & Taxis Roggen
    Augustiner Lagerbier Hell
