Plenty of stack for your cash.

Cheers Miro, dunno how I missed that, looks like a bloody bargain.
Are they linking to the wrong geo chart?

I ran thin 29mm tyres (grand Bois) with normal rims, with ultegra brakes, I reckon it max out at a true 30mm tyres, which is why I liked my old CAAD10.

Wonder how popular the Ribble/Zipp 404 combo is in reality. Must admit it suits the frame.

By the way, hydraulic disc brakes road bike are the future.
There's nothing like overtaking every single roadie on their best carbon bike when descending Aubisque, Soulor, Tourmalet and Aspin.
It's amazing how little effort required to brakes my overloaded bicycle to a standstill, one finger is usually enough, meaning I can brake a lots later before a corner and not have to worry about overheating the rims.
That was just with the TRP HY/RD.

Looking at my 25s on normal rims, it'll be a squeeze. Ed has done it, I think.

Cheers. But I checked the geo. I currently have a 110mm headtube with my stem fully slammed (with 'tester' headset cover). The small propel has a 135mm headtube! There's a chance the funky brakes reduce the length of the fork, reducing stack. But not by 25 fecking mm.
Only one aero frame that I have looked at, actually let's me ride it in a aero position. No amount of clever tube shaping is going to compensate for raising my lumpy corpse into the air...... Grrrrrr.

Reach and stack are all you should look at.
Tube length is a redherring.

I know but it wasn't listed. Like I said the brakes might result in less fork Crown, thus a shorter fork, and a lower front end.
I want a stack of 510mm, and a reach of 380mm.

Dangerously close to getting myself divorced by buying this.

If you are going to get divorced over a bike, at least go for a looker.

Wow .. box hill mamils would have a heart attack literally
Whats stack and reach of your BMC?
XS in the new Aeroroad CF SLX is pretty close with 512mm and 376mm.
-
• #5967
I calculated it to 510 and 379.
With a 2mm tall headset cover, a -10 degree stem, and 135mm deep drops. There isnt much I can change to fit a taller bike.
I have a couple in mind that would be awesome, and fit. Mainly XS in size :(
The Canyon is up there.I'd quite like an aero roadbike because they look fast, and tend to be stiff and uncomfortable. Which I get on With. But for some reason they have shopper bike stack heights. Are they expecting us to need room for a basket on Our Cervelos?
-
• #5968
Cervelo apparently have made stack 20mm smaller on S5 this year ..

Winter trainer innit

You need a Cipollini.

• #5971
S5 is fucking grim.

• #5972
Aero but ugly. That's why I got an S2.

• #5973
I like this.

If you can pony up the £1800 and you're a size 56 I'll sell you my Felt F1 with Full DA 7900
-
• #5975
I definitely need a cipollini.
I'm definitely not a 56.The felt is a nice bike though. I also seem to remember making a S5 fit. I like them.
