  • from the heavy brooklyn machine works gangsta track to this coarse interceptor crit bike. i tried a whole bunch of frames like cinelli, dodici, koga in crits, but every time... steel is better. the bmw remains the stiffest and the strongest.

@HoKe needs to see this. Steel is the way to go, Ho.

Bike itself should go to anti though.

  • The lower the F number (lens aperture), the shallower the depth of field

  • Anti and there's no way a gangsta frame is stiffer than nemo, forks possibly.

  • Edit: oh ffs. Still getting used to new forum.

  • Anti and there's no way a gangsta frame is stiffer than nemo, forks possibly.

Agreed. What a load of shit.

  • @Patfatenough Aching I think...

  • Really like the Canyon!

  • parlee toptube is ugly
seatpost in combination with position of the saddle is ugly, handlebars too

  • Parlee is ugly and are generally SO meh. I just don't get why anyone pays stupid money for those things

  • Top tube lump is not ideal but looks more traditional than the ESX - colour and build makes for a nice bike. 750g frame is impressive.

  • Love the look of the Vitus 992 seat cluster...

  • Not necessarily referring to the newer frame i posted above but your Meh is another mans subtle...visually very simple, understated and seems to appeal when you dont want a shouty pseudo aero, structurally enhanced with x factor process, acronym plastered frame that often ride a bit like a door. They wont turn heads on a club run but tend to get great reviews from anyone who has ridden them.

Cost is high but not stacked against pro tour frames... brands like argonaut, alchemy and parlee deserve the praise they get for making nice frames without masses of marketing fluff. I thought the new Pinarello ad claiming to be 16% more balanced was quite funny...

  • What's the name of the setting on cameras for that Rossin^

    lol.

  • They wont turn heads on a club run but tend to get great reviews from anyone who has ridden them.

It's a Bike Porn thread, and that thing is ugly and boring.
    Next.

  • Was referring to a different bike than the one posted but quote away...

  • And what were the reasons to post that grey thing? So you can follow with a comment to say same company can do better?
    Oh yeah, that makes sense.

  • Calm down... responding to a comment about the company in general. Widely regarded as great bikes and have featured in these pages before. But each to their own and your free to disagree...

  • Calm down...

How about a nice large cup of... Fuck off?!

  • ^^ My favourite shot of that:

The Chris-King-fest is bordering on overly matchy-matchy but it's turquoise so I'll allow it.
