  • Our Vinyl weigh's A Ton - I'd really recommend for any Hip Hop fans. Gave a great insight into an iconic Hip Hop Label (Stones Throw).

GOTG - Really enjoyed it. Fun, great characters and a decent enough plot (for a Marvel film). Looking forward to the second one.

    The Quiet One's - Shit.

Three Colours Trilogy - Still love them. Please watch if you haven't done so already!

  • Three Colours Trilogy - Indeed good, seen them ages ago!

Started watching "the act of killing" about a bunch of paramilitaries/criminals that killed people when the military junta in Indonesia came to power in the 60s...making their own movie about re-enacting what they did. Puts you off your dinner...very good don't get me wrong, but so many people killed. Made up charges for being "communist".

Other than that...they seem well not quite a normal bunch, they've a bit of an "air" around them, but not vicious murderers either. The mundanity of evil?

  • the latest xmans film. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE! none. the plot is holier than then popes cheese cabinet.

    Watching that now.

  • It doesn't make any sense...

  • Yeah, it was a bit like that. Still...XMen and fighting and stuff.

  • The Double.

Dean Learner does Dostoyevsky via Terry Gilliam. Not bad. It gets an extra point for having J Mascis in it for about a third of a second.

  • Godzilla. Sigh.

  • it was awesome!

in fact i might watch it again

  • How in colossal fucks did you come to that conclusion.
They can make a mechanical nuke, but not use a purely mechanical car to get around in?! Dafuck?!
Also, too much human, not enough awsum dragon breath.

  • I'm with chak. Saw it twice and really not that impressed

  • true. is it too much to expect movies about giant radioactive lizards that eat nuclear waste based on japanese toys to be more grounded in reality?

  • It was great, more like the original movies...

  • the 'food' scene made me hork into my jelly and icecream a bit. urhhrhrhh...

When they look in the food processing machine? That made no sense to me. They'd just told the story about what they ate before with a straight, if a bit shameful, face. I'm pretty sure I'd choose the latter.

  • you're a vegetarian. they'd eat you first as you are basically a delicious talking cow.

  • . *shiver*

  • Skyline...is there a worse aliens invading movie made? That wasn't straight to video or tvm?

  • Inbetweeners 2... Laughed once... Maybe...

Are You Here... Awesome, Zak and Owen are really great in this... Some other fine acting from the rest of the cast... Low key, a bit sentimental but awesome...

Only Lovers Left Alive... Most OG hipster movie Jim Jarmusch has ever made... Ticks every single OG hipster box in the history of OG hipsterism... #imanexpert

Really enjoyed it, tho' the ending kinda spiralled off a bit...

  • Saw "Deliver Us From Evil", pile of shite. Eric Bana in poor form, it was a shame. Too many jump scares, not enough eerieness.

The search for a decent 2014 horror film continues...

  • @Drakien, 13 sins , was pretty good.

  • wolf creek 2, not bad.

  • Also, too much human, not enough awsum dragon breath.

Same problem at the transformers films. I just want to be able to fast forward any bit where the stupid humans are talking.

  • wolf creek 2, not bad

Ah Gahd, I remember watching the first Wolf Creek at the cinema a week before I went to live in Australia for 18 months.

    "Head on a stick", bleurgh.

  • 13 sins , was pretty good.

Thanks, I'll give that one a go. It gets +1 for Ron Perlman straight off!

  • 13 Sins is fun, totally gave me the creeps...
