So on the chainline front I'd originally planned to use an FC7600 crankset & UN-55 BB, but a SRAM Rival chainset came up locally on ebay for silly cheap, so I've gone for that.
Mr _B mentioned that the same GXP crankset with the chainring on the inside worked for him, so hopefully it'll be ok with the Halo freewheel too.
Yep, the on-one site mentions the clearance allows 32c tyres with mudguards. I ended up getting some Vittoria Cross XN Pro II in that size. Hoping they'll squeeze in under some guards.
One small problem is that the V4 forks aren't drilled all the way through at the crown. They're only drilled at the rear to mount mudguards, but I want to fit a lower cable guide for the front brake, so that's another little job to do!
But the frame's currently with my LBS to get the BB/Headset pressed in, and they're also building my wheels up at the mo. I missed the post at the weekend, but I think the rest of the parts are waiting for me now so I'm hoping I can get this built up during the week and start exploring on Saturday!
