    spacer stack
straight post in combination with a short stem

    oh no.

  • I'd be disappointed if a small parallax didn't have toe overlap. Slack angles >>>>>>>>Dosnoventa thread

Granted the cockpit looks bad, but if he's easing into a lower position I wouldn't expect him to slam the stem straight away. He's got to ride it aswell as look at it.

  • Have you guys seen the 2015 models? Never liked new cinellis but these have some good improvements:

  • Noice histo...

  • Gif to see the differences between 2014 and 2015

  • the only difference I can see is the angle of the photo.

  • Tapered HT

  • forks, the 2015 will have the 1 1/2 to 1 1/8 taper whereas the 2014 is the straight 1 1/8

  • and smooth welds

  • Tapered HT Vig will be pretty sweet, sort out the flexy fork issue.

  • Damn, those changes could make me buy a new Vig, hopefully the price doesn't change a lot.

  • dayum dat mash

  • Yup that Histo is sexy. All black stealth builds on those framesets are going to look veeeeeryyyy good.

  • The new Vig does beg the question why anyone would buy a parallax

  • The ones that can't stand the vig paintjob I guess. Are the prices similar?

  • yeah, at the beginning the "pedal" overlap sucks. i went to the floor a couple of times, but now it's non an issue. even in U turns.

the thing with the fork... i rather have more spacers than just chop the thing. Eventually i will put down the stem, I guess.

You are correct about the short stem. This is the first bike I choose the correct size. Previous bikes were too big or the geo was weird, and that's why I have a a straight post and a .60 stem.

This frame is compact, short, very tight (plus the 28mm rake). So i guess this is the colsest i'm gonna ride a track frame/geo.

I feel great with the bike at this point. I put the seat post a little bit higher and the saddle a little bit backwards because i had pain in my knee. So far so good.

  • Yeah, this is a xs size (50) so when i order it and read about the 28mm rake I knew it's gonna be something different in daily commuting. But as I mention before, now it's ok. At the beginning the toe overlap was hard.

I really don't get the comment about the cockpit. I'm really open bout your suggestions guys. Here in my country few people ride bikes and even less if they are road/trakc bikes

  • Do any of the Mashes come drilled to run brakes as I have to ride single speed due to knee problems and I really do like all the Cinelli track frames and really want a new project.

  • Only front brake pre drilled hole need to drill out bung.

  • That just obvs pedantry. In a perfect world etc. Eingangs FES cockpit looks even worse. Lots of pots and kettles here...just enjoy a great frame liek. B-)

  • ^was just thinking that, and in fairness on a frame that size, a 60mm stem is probably not too far from being the proportionally the right size, 80/90mm probably being ideal

  • @ordinata: the fes is a track bike, not a hhsb with a short stem.

  • And the fes looks fucking amazing anyway.

  • Hi! I'm looking at getting a Parallax - just wondered if anyone had got the full bike build, and if it was worth it? Or better to go custom build? Thought it might get the full bike then upgrade parts and move old the parts over to my Kona paddywagon when I've got more cash...

Got a cycle scheme voucher burning a hole in my pocket... Parallax the right way to go?

  • @Eingang Thank you for clearing that up.

    This is not bike porn.

    Nor is it HHSB also.
