LFGSS Track Day IX

Glad I dropped by to see some of the action. thanks for the beer @tricitybendix and for putting a few more forum faces to a few more forum names.

Thank you everyone who raced or spectated.

To be honest I was worried we wouldn't have that many people turn up so it was nice to have a field of 19 men and 7 women. I hope you all had fun, and I have £90 that will be donated to the forum because of it.

The racing was very good, close fields, surprise results with regular and new faces both putting in a good show.

Massive thanks goes to Look Mum No Hands, Milltag, Swrve, Yasi and Brixton Cycles for donating prizes.

It was a shame we didn't get to have the Hare & Hound as a final race but we were lucky the weather held off as long as it did.

Another massive thanks goes to @DoktorPepe for picking up the prizes, @Colin_the_Bald and @dimi3 for helping with the results and also to the Herne Hill coach I keep forgetting the name of.

Hisham is the coach. He used to smash Track League in 2013 on the regular.
Thanks @Sumo , @DoktorPepe and everyone who raced for a great day out, I really enjoyed it.

It's a pleasure to help any way I could. I hope all small fuckups were bearable for the riders and you still had fun.
I'll do my best to be on a track next time round.

It's for whichever you prefer, spectating or racing! It's going to be a pretty awesome event I think, not for the faint hearted!

Also, I need to register the details of whoever does use it, so let me know.

Massive thanks @Sumo @DoktorPepe @dimi3 & @Colin_the_Bald for helping out! It was a painful and a horrible experience to be riding/racing on the track when you're mega hungover (though I thought I could have got away with racing in the Cat B's...how wrong was I?)

Anyways it was lovely to see so many generations of the forum people out and about! was lovely see to mark and lola with their plus one and everyone else who I've haven't seen for a while! Big rep for you guys and the riders (who are just getting stronger and stronger each year) =)

Anyways let's hope this continues and more of the older folks join in next year? (possible senior/OAP races?) if so I'll fit in that Cat perfectly...usual hoke's photo bomb will be coming shortly...
