I had such a good time today - thanks everyone :) Really great crew.

Yeah - none of them are cheap. At least La Gelateria did the little taster cones for £1.

Thanks for coming along everyone - that was fun, the banter at Marine Ices and Ruby Violet being highlights.

I have quite the sugar hangover today

My top three picks for the day.

1. Ruby Velvet - Salted Caramel
   
2. Gelupo - Riccota, Chocolate and Black Pepper
   
3. La Gelateria - Banana Sorbet
   
   
   
   

Gelupo had the best shop decor, followed by 3Bis.

Honourable Mentions : Udderlicious's Nutella flavour was very good, need to go back and try out a few more flavours. Oddono's is one of my locals, their Pistachio flavour is very good - because its not new I did not rank it. Marine Ices I have been to a few times, plus Rum and Raisin is one of my favs, but something was missing. For pure novelty ChinChinLabs needs a mention too.

+1 for sugar hangover. Ate a big salad today to counteract everything sugar.

1. Ruby Violet for friendliest staff, best light sign, location and greatest banana ice cream I've ever had (Ale flavour wins for creativeness, but was actually pretty odd. That Avocado one was rank but again, creativity was up there) They also took a photo of all our bikes stacked up, I reckon they loved it as much as we did.
   
   

@fasih that ricotta one was really good, that wins for most creamy and texture.

Fyi, Marine Ice are either renovating or shut down.

I had an ice cream from the gelato place in Covent Garden about an hour ago. It was great. They have fig flavour on special today.

A+. Would deal again.
