  • ^ that was just mean

  • price drop £230

  • Jimmy pls you too funny.

Also, you've more chance of getting laid tonight than shifting these wheels at that price mr seller.

  • Anyway Jim haven't you got some fleecing/ripping off to be getting on with?

  • go fuck yourself TM

  • can i say it any plainer than that

  • Backing TM on this.

  • Personally, if you're operating as a business (or making a profit, selling stuff on with a markup because your cat broke it's leg or whatever you want to call it) I think you should state this in your original post, otherwise I feel like you're using the community aspect of the forum to cheat people. I see it as dishonest.
I don't have an issue with people making money, we all need to pay the bills, just be honest in the first place and people won't feel the need to call you out.

    And this

Don't like it don't buy. Or make me an offer if you want them

This isn't some backstreet marketplace where you can usher people to move along so the other "customers" can't hear the complaints

    #shitlist

  • Nathan i'll take em off you....

  • Great pm me and we will talk details

  • Still for sale waiting for a reply

  • Mate, I'm in York and will give you £120 for these tomorrow.

I don't see you getting more than that on here to be honest.

Pop them back on ebay if you want to make a quick profit, LFGSS famously hates 'flippers'.

  • The original asking price for these was ridiculous. Given that we all know you paid £82 for them you'll be lucky to be offered more than £120. I hate people like you.

  • I'd unbuild these carefully, and sell the components separately.

Road rims for tubs, in 'champagne' ano, with what looks like a dose of brake wear, on proper nice track hubs, in silver, don't look like a great buy for a quarter of a grand.

Most people here don't use tubs.

You haven't stated what the hub's bearings feel like, or the state of the threads.

If cash is important to you, split the wheels up.

    Just sayin.

  • bearings are all silky. I think I might split them tonight shame as they have soldiered spokes, Am I best blow torching these or just cutting them?

  • Cutting them, but ideally using a spoke key.

Or, you could save yourself half an hours work and cutting yourself with cut spokes (trust me on this, I speak from experience!) and sell them for a smaller profit.

You won't sell the rims as they're pretty worn and you'll struggle to sell the tubs used. You'd get about £120 if that for the hubs.

I'll take the whole wheels off you for £120. I don't care about brake wear as they'll be for the track.

  • okay will keep that it mind. Going for final price drop Of £200 including posted to mainland UK. Then they go and sit on the Bay at price for a week

  • So nuke this thread then.

    Also £210, fucking ha!

  • they're 7600 hubs mate

  • Sorry about the typo. How do I "nuke" the thread?

  • bloody capitalists

  • Not impressed: this is a platform for cyclists to buy and sell bits to each other that they no longer need, rather than a place to profiteer by buying else where, applying a hipster tax and treating us like mugs.

  • Tempted to buy them advertised as 7800s then paypal buyer protection to fuck him in the ass.
