Giant Defy 4 58.5cm Frameset

With a slightly heavy heart its time to let my first 'proper' frame go.

XL (58.5) Giant Defy 4 (2011) frameset including headset and seatpost. Aluminium frame and fork.

I won't bore you with nostalgic details but wanted give you an indication of its versatility and its condition.

It has been ridden in all conditions, I commuted on it for two years over the hills of Cornwall and for some time in Cardiff too. It has done London to Paris, bike-packed in fields, done loaded touring around West Wales, wiped out under me multiple times, been loaded onto and into more cars than I can remember, carried me to my first (and all subsequent) centuries, had a whole heap of different component set-ups, completed a Festive 500 in possibly the wettest winter ever, the list goes on.

Hopefully the above and the pictures show how well used it has been, its certainly not in pristine condition but it is totally structurally sound! I'd suggest it could be the basis for the ideal first road bike (as it was for me) or for a winter/training bike.

I'm hoping for £120 (shipped anywhere in the UK). Any questions get in touch.

I'd also consider a trade for a decent road wheel-set if that tempts anyone?
