  • I've got an Asus Transformer, runs Windows 8, fairly underpowered (2GB memory and Intel atom) which I mainly use for travelling.

Any suggestions for games to while away the hours on trains and planes? No online play as I don't always have internet connection and preferably playable with trackpad and keyboard.

On a similar note, can anyone recommend a slimline gamepad. The xbox one I have at home is too bulky to carry around.
    Cheers

  • I'm in not too dissimilar a situation with my Surface Pro 2, though it can run GTA IV at 30fps, which is pretty respectable considering how terrible a port that is.

Though I've been playing a lot of Xenonauts, Mark of the Ninja, Hotline Miami, Invisible Inc., Super Meat Boy, Lovely Planet, Papers Please, Always Sometimes Monsters and Retro City Rampage.

Considering how many great games are coming from small developers who can't afford to spend so much on AAA-style graphics it's not such a bad thing having a relatively underpowered PC these days.
