Basically I'm wondering if you could use them to attach panniers to a TCR.

Look like Velo Orange to me.

They are dry bags, in their own version of Salsa's Anything Cage.
Works as long as stuff fills the space and sharp things are covered to stop them rubbing through against the fork. You usually need 2-3 eyelets on the fork to mount them.

Can't see black VO ones.

Just keep an eye on the top/bottom end for whatever combo you go for - mine has a similar bottom end to the 48/36 11-32 I was running before, lost a bit of the top but willing to sacrifice that for smoother shifting.
As long as you're not going road double and a tiny cassette, you'll probably be fine!

Cheers.
So it looks like there might be a bodge there. But it might not be simple. Basically I'd like to do a credit card tour from near La Rochelle to Spain, possibly Santiago d/C. But I'd rather used my Giant TCR. So I thought x2 of those little dry bags and a topeak wedge saddle bag would do it.

Why not just get a RD saddle pack bag? It takes like 15L? That's more than enough! Then top tube bag too if need be.

Seems like you're travelling quite light, why not just go for a bike-packing style saddlebag/frame bag or similar? I assume your fork is carbon of some description...

no. no.

I ran46/36 with 12-28 on a front loaded touring bike, work great and got me over all the mountain. Spain threw at me in the last couple of days, however it would be perfect if I have 12-30 so I have a gear spare if the worse come to worse, 11-32 will be fine.
I love the 46/36 combo, it's very much the tourer version of the old 52/42 chainset on road bike, it's nice to drop the front derailleur and find the perfect cadence without dropping 2 or 3 sprocket on the rear.
Like other said, it shift amazing, especially when you're hauling.

Probably caught up in the low weight on the front fad. But also it looked quite neat and appears to have no interference whatsoever with cables etc.

Yep a carbon fork. My TCR is small so there's not tonnes of room for a frame bag. This one below isn't mine, but it gives an idea of room.
Anyway all this is a very long way off. -

Seeing yours first and this one later made me really want one. Not sure which one I like more.
It's not going to be very soon, but I recon it'll (or a Rourke copy of it ) be my next buy. -

Thanks.
I think when I've cash monies, I'll get something built custom. I need a slacker seat tube and a few other small things to make it perfect. But as a no frills or care given hack it's great.
No idea how to quote a post which only has images, but does anyone know or have any info on the Trek with sort of low rider panniers that Amy posted?
