Still no luck locating my TCR; been using all the websites I can think of and will be at Brick Lane market tomorrow morning too. Bikeshd.co.uk is pretty handy

I had a black, lightweight fixed-gear stolen from Kingsland Road in Dalston. The whole frame is covered with black tape, the right footclip is broken and there is damage to the seat. If anyone see's a bike matching this description on-the-road, in any bike shops or markets in north-east Ldn - pls contact me on 07776198433 .
My friend built this bike and I've used it everyday for around 5 years. I am still looking for a decent pic, will upload ASAP.
Thanks!

I saw something very very very similar to this being ridden through Stratford towards Plaistow yesterday around 6. Was walking and he was riding at quite a speed so couldn't get a proper look :(

Just saw two youngish guys in hoods riding these sorts of bikes that obviously didn't belong to them.
Not sure if the second one had the handlebars set up like that, but frame very similar.
Bottom of Rye Lane, 3.25pm 16/8/14. Hopefully that is of sort help to someone somewhere!

Hi all,
Just found an unlocked and unattended black vintage road bike - quite large and fairly rusty and unloved with holes in the seat.
I have locked it up at mine and left a note in case the owner comes back. Just thought I'd post something here in case someone had this bike stolen.
Reply here if you think the bike is yours and if you can describe it accurately I'll hand it back to you. -

Hi all,
Longshot, I know, but just in case anybody spots it while out and about:
Kennedy City 2 speed city bike, large frame (59cm iirc) with brown leather wraps and saddle, drop down handlebars.
Stolen (along with a number of my neighbours' bikes) from outside my flat just off Victoria Park.
I'm mattired@gmail.com if anybody spots it.
Thanks very much, all the best.

probably not on here, but...
If you had a Raleigh shopper style folding bike stolen on bank Holiday Sunday/Monday in North London, PM me and I'll tell you which Police station I took it to as missing property.

My Van Dessel Gin & Trombones was stolen in Bermondsey on Monday afternoon, at around 1:45pm. It is quite distinctive, black with yellow decals and markings, with a Look Mum No Hands! sticker on the right chainstay. It also had a very slick set of wheels on it. I've tweeted about it and taken other steps like reporting to police and my renter's insurance. Any other advice? I'd really like to get it back. There's quite a bit of rolling history there.

My trek 4th District single-speed bicycle was stolen yesterday between 8.30am and 11.30am from a communal area in a block of flats in Chiswick. I've let the police and local bike shops know. I doubt I'll ever see it again, but would be amazing if I got it back.
This is my lost beauty:

Try to arrange to buy it, meet in a public place and get police/mates involved at that stage?

Anyone had a carbon Look in black with green and white accents nicked? Saw one being ridden on the pavement by someone who I can guarantee didn't buy it from a bike shop. This was Clapton Pond, if that helps.

I've just woken up to see my bike has been stolen from outside my house in Denmark Hill, SE24. Its a heavily scratched up blue steel frame fixed conversion. Also its got white deep rims and white riser bars. Its pretty shoddy looking but I built it myself so holds a lot of sentimental value.
If anyone sees it could they please let me know, I'm a poor student at the moment and the prospect of tube travel/buying a new bike is going to financially cripple me!

Unfortunately not, it's very similar to the picture I posted.

I had my blue Schwinn Fronier GSD (2007 edition) stolen from the bike racks outside canada water tube station this saturday night (6th september). It was locked right next to surrey quays road and there was cctv there too. Have reported it to the police but no response yet. Although the bike is quite old I just had it completely revamped and it holds a lot of sentimental value. If anyone has seen anything please do let me know. I've attached a picture below. Thanks guys.

Can you keep an eye out for a 1950's triumph s/s.
I was filtering past a taxi that had stopped in the bike lane when he drove into me. He then started saying I scratched his door. He got out and pulled my bike from me. I ran away because I was afraid he might try and hurt me.

Might be the wrong thread but..
I bought a Fizik Arione from Dakin this evening, then dropped it at some point on my way home (I was on a Boris and it was in a bag in the basket). Between Shorditch High Street Station and Mile End.
Longshot - but did anyone find it?!

^^I notice your front light is missing - were you so scared you stopped to remove it before you ran off?
That must have taken some nerve. Was there anything else on your handlebars? Like, say, a bag? I know a lot of people suggest having a bag dangling from your handlebars is a bad idea and might even affect your ability to steer or use your brakes but of course that's just an old wives' tale.
nice.
