We should get Ed in here - he'll be able to help you out loads with the fit and component choices.

Regular cable Di2. The cable wil be internal all the way down to the mechs.
Rear brake mount is under the chain stays, hidden by the chainrings. -

Sounds like a very sexy bike.

Any paint job sketches or anything?
This thing looks so awesome, I love watching these builds come together -

I did some paint tests on both steel and carbon tubes a while back. Will take a photo later and post it up.

• #32
Great!
When does the carbon go in then? -
• #33
Carbon will replace the seattube that is in there at the moment.
-
• #34
So it'll be seat tube and post in one? Is it nearly at that stage?

Oh, I didnt think that image posted. I am forced to use internet explorer at work, and this new forum just doesnt work with it.
But yeah, that picture is basically what i have in mind but slightly different, and with a carbon ISP instead of steel. I'm sure Matt will put his own signiture on it somehow too!

Any reason for under BB brakes? They tend to fill with dirt and their effectiveness disappears..
-
• #43
Even trek have ditched them...
I'd presume this is a sunny days only bike, so no dirt.
-
• #44
No they havent
-
• #45
Okay yes, top end madone still has it there.

How does that work then?
Looks good so far. Paint job sounds typically restrained too :)
