Top infos.
This is still a massive distraction from my point though :-)

I got that.

Anyway. A phonetic expert describes the IS beheader as showing hints of 'jafaican', or London youth accents. Unless he was overdubbed. It's all pretty grim isn't it.

When i heard the 'beatle's' accent i was pretty gutted and felt ashamed to honet. James Foley was a guy trying report the suffering of the Syrian people to the world and if you look at the publications he worked for he was hardly some polished imperialist fox news presenter he was there to show people the truth.
Fundamentalist / Extremist Islam is a doctrine based upon the insecurities of men and they thrive on recruiting dimwitted impressionable misanthropes who can't think for themselves. Any kind of honor amongst these plebs is long gone. Mass summary executions, and beheadings, followed by rape and eugenics. (One particular quote that has sickened me is the threat to "impregnate yazidi women to smash their blond bloodline' (sic).
I'm not naive enough to think that the West are not doing horrendous things around the world, with global systematic poverty the world over, but these little shits are changing the way the game is played and it isn't going to be pretty. I'm thinking it's gonna come this way soon enough too.

There's supposed to be a girl from Lewisham in IS who has stated she wants to be the first woman to kill a prisoner so they're doing their bit for equality at least.

what does halal slaughter have to do with murdering someone? because murder is not halal (permisible) in the first place and i also believe that under the islamic code of war it is Haram (forbidden) to kill any prisoner, and also Dhabihah (or Zabihah) is a term specifically used for the consumption of food.

Blood, knives, religion and death?
It's relevance to the topic of this thread is limited. But you did ask.

I do not believe the West is actively supporting Israel. Could you imagine the swiftness and severity of US retribution we would see if the Mexicans were lobbing bombs across the border every afternoon form the top of school buildings? The Israelis are stuck in the middle of a fucking furness surrounded by people who want the ultimate destruction of the Jewish state.

Lololol. Time to walk away from this thread before it goes to a bad place.
-
• #62
So I guess you didn't see the 37 pages of this very argument in the 'In the news...' thread.
I do not believe the West is actively supporting Israel.
They are. Billions of dollars worth of arms each year. Just a few weeks ago when Israel ran low on ammo from bombing the Gaza strip, the US Congress immediately voted to resupply them with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of missiles.
if the Mexicans were lobbing bombs across the border
Why would Mexicans do this? Absolutely no reason to, so a ridiculous comparison.

so basically murder somehow has something to do with halal meat?

• #64
if Israel didn't invade and occupy Palestine on the biblical belief that they are Gods chosen people and that Palestine is their promised land, then i don't think many rockets would be fired every afternoon from the top of school buldings.

Are you trolling your own thread @SeƱor_Bear ? ... Well played.
Israel is home to around 40% of the worlds Jewish population. North America around 45%.
It's the size of Wales with a population of 8m. It's tiny but has been recieved more US aid than anywhere on the planet ... or forty years.
The deals in place mean that money has to be spent on US goods. Mostly arms these days.

Going to start wearing hats... lots of hats.

Yes. It reminded Tommy of halal. That is something. Not something to dwell on, but something.

I do not believe the West is actively supporting Israel.
According to the Congressional Research Service US aid to Israel (mostly in the form of military aid) is currently running to the tune of about $3 billion per annum (page 26 provides a handy summary), and has done for some time now. Whether that's 'actively supporting' Israel is a matter of semantics, but it looks like quite a bit of support of the active variety to me.

hmmm seems legit

I do not believe the West is actively supporting Israel.
That's because the West don't actively support Israel.
Aside from the abstention or No votes on resolutions in the UN, lack of sanctions, softly worded press statements.
Oh - and the supply of bombs, guns and killing machines.

Palestine - Governed by Hamas.
Hamas - Manifeto item number 2On the Destruction of Israel:
'Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will
obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.' (Preamble) -

Is @TS (Tommy) trolling again?
-
• #74
Not really. His opinion is as valid as anyones.

It's all gone a bit EdwardZ in here, I am out..
What have UK abattoir conditions to do with anything @dicki ?
My point was Tommy's joining-the-dots between halal and beheading is not totally ridiculous, even if it is offensive.
