Interesting.
Let me test.
This is revision 5.

Works fine.
Only ever returns the current revision (99.99999% of the time that will be the last one).
However... this bit uses AJAX, and whilst we set some headers to say "Don't cache this", it could be that IE11 is just gleefully caching that first AJAX request and keeps the older version for when you ask subsequently for the text of the post.
I will double check the headers we send.
Edit, checked.
The headers might not be aggressive enough at telling IE to not cache that resource. I'll add the other no-cache ones to it.
Bug listed here:
https://github.com/microcosm-cc/microweb/issues/257Not sure where our expires headers are... we'll check that they really are being set, and if so that CloudFlare is not removing them.

Whatever the 'search conversation' functionality is supposed to do..

Your browser has cached the old version, you haven't pressed refresh.

You might imagine it "searches a conversation", and it does.
It's just that the given query took too long and timed out, and the front-end server showed a non-helpful error message.
You can usually avoid this by providing greater specificity in the query.

Is that you want to blackmail someone (even as a joke) until you get your way?
Strange thinking you have there.

Not sure if TS had wrong formatting when he entered this event?
Or if event lists are struggling with special characters in namesDo event participant lists dynamically update on username changes?

You are referring to yourself in third person. Please see a doctor.

speaking of which.. the voices in my head have told me to change my name back so I can really get stuck into the ISIS thread.
But I don't trust any of you not to steal his name and post comments in an attempt to frame me.

Oh, and I've looked at the search thing, and it's working fine.
I do see that the log files said it was going slow yesterday.

used the main search for the word 'track'
got this result
Server Error We're sorry, there was a temporary error when we tried to process your request. The error has been logged. Please try again later. Click here to go back to the homepage.
Also noticed that events seem only show the first 25 participants.

Doesn't take me to the newest unread post - look where it halted me (even before my own post later on the thread). I'm behind a strong corporate firewall, Chrome, Win 7, signed out and in Persona when I noticed it, and when it didn't help to sign out and in, I clicked a random following topic and took the screenshot).

That page has inline images which load after the page itself, so the place your browser jumps to won't always be accurate.
