  • For reasons detailed in the cross thread I need to shift some parts and replace them.

The replacement parts are going to cost me ~£500.

I'm going from cabled to electronic, so there is no halfway house here- therefore no single component will be available until everything is gone, or I've hit £500 - whichever comes first.

First up, Retroshift CVX2, 2x10, Shimano, for linear pull brakes - I'm using them with Avid BB7 MTB brakes and they are everything the road version should be but aren't.

    They look like this:

And work brilliantly - the only reason I am changing is that whilst they are fantastic to use from the hoods you can't really change in the drops, which isn't a huge deal unless you are racing, which is pretty much the only use my CX bike gets.

These are €199 here, although they say that they are 9 speed whereas mine are 10.

    I'd like £100.

SRAM XX 11 - 32 cassette - this is a thing of beauty, machined out of one block of steel it's lighter than my Dura Ace 7900 11-25.

    Originally £315(!) I've found one on Chainreaction for £170, I'd like £120.

Given a clean both shifters and cassette would probably pass for new, they're not- they're lightly used.

Right, off to find a further £280's worth of bits, which will appear shortly.

  • Rotor 3DF (Forged) road cranks, 172.5mm arms, 110bcd:

£269 at Sigma, £150 from me.

I don't know about the set on Sigma, but I'l include the proper Rotor BB for using these cranks in a BSA frame.

Good used condition (not used very much).

  • Praxis cycles forged chainrings, 52/36, 110bcd:

£119 from SJS, £50 from me - these are used, and have some scratches etc I think the price is fair for the condition.

  • Right, we're up to £420, let me see what else I have.

  • Do you have a BB30 to BSA adaptor?

  • Dura Ace 7900 11-25 cassette off my race bike - plenty of people will tell you I don't race, so this is obviously in great condition. It's used, but has thousands of miles before it qualifies as worn in, let alone worn out.

These are just under £100 from CRC, so £40 for mine.

  • Do you have a BB30 to BSA adaptor?

I have two, one lightly used (on the Time Machine) which I'll include for free, one BNIB which I'd like some cash for.

  • 105 rear mech, £15:

  • Novatec D712SB rear hub, 28 hole, Shimano 10 speed:

    http://novatecusa.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/RH-D612SB_large.jpg

$110 at Bdop, call it £30?

Laced into a wheel, then unlaced without the wheel ever being ridden.

  • £485 for the whole lot.

  • Very, very good prices.

  • Pm'd you about the shifters and rear mech

  • Ok, we have takers for the cranks, rings, shifters and rear mech.

For those to go the cassettes need to find new homes.

  • i have an aero spider for the rotor cranks if buyer would like to have a tt setup - would happily trade + cash for the compact spider and rings (mine is 130bcd)

  • Second dibs on those shifters.

  • Can you do £40 posted for the DA cassette, please and thank you?

  • I can do, and will if no one else shouts - got to be honest though, I'd rather just hand it over in London.

  • Are the cranks sold? Located in Manchester as a heads up too...

  • How much for the novatec hub posted to germany?
*edit just realised that it is 135mm, so i'm sadly not interested. glws nonetheless

  • Cranks, rings, shifters, rear mech all gone - the rest needs to go, who wants one (or two) of the finest 10 speed cassettes ever made?

  • Do you have a BB30 to BSA adaptor- remover? Or know anywhere that does?

  • Fraid I don't

  • Do you have a BB30 BSA adaptor still? Which one?
