  • I really don't think oil has anything to do with current events.

Oil is cheap right now but always has everything to do with everything!

It guarantees our continued involvement in the region and our weird support of both Saudi Arabia and Israel in stalemate. It's made the west an obvious and soft target for IS because we are there and (rightly or wrongly) imposing.

  • Ive chosen not to watch the footage, as having seen previous beheadings such as Nick Berg, which im told this is similar I don't feel I need to subject my eyes to it.

However if you haven't viewed this human behaviour before I strongly recommend you seek it out.

I think about it everytime I see an halal meat meat shop.

As for ISIS - I have been really impressed by their savvy use of social media and the use of british nations to gain increased PR exposure.

  • That's a pretty f*cked up comment.

What do you think about when you walk past a regular "meat shop"? Regardless whether it's produce is halal, kosher or just regular meat.

  • In a traditional British abattoir the standard practice is for the proto-meat to be cuddled to death, on a bed of roses, ensuring that the livestock dies happy.

  • provocateurs

    Agent Provocateurs?

    Hot.

  • I think about it everytime I see an halal meat meat shop.

    What the actual fuck?

  • So, was sexism getting a little dull for you, Tommy? Decided to add racism to your portfolio now :-/

  • I thought I recognised the avatar. Thanks for clearing that one up.

  • ''I though I recognised the avatar''

Soon to be replaced by this one.

  • UK uses electrified water or boltgun no?

Halal is with a bloody big knife?

If so. I can see the parralel.

  • google animal welfare videos of british abbatoirs

  • Don't know if any of the people posting have watched the footage.
It shows a man being murdered in a similar method used in the hala process.

A process that is often justified as being the most 'humanian' method of killing.
Without being able to ask the animals its hard to argue against, however after seeing it done a fellow human - it wouldn't be my choice.

I'm not sure anything racist can be inferred from my post.

But yes, I would say any race that engages in Dhabihah slaughter is inferrer to one that does not, (if equal in other respects)

  • You joke, but we put processes in place of tradition to make it feel less like we're killing a thing. Organic cuddled meat will be in a Wholefoods near you soon.

  • That's not going to happen. What's the score?

  • i blame blair

I think this all started before he stuck his big honk in

  • I blame Jesus.

  • I'm the real TS!?!

  • I reckon the fat lad Buddha is pulling the strings. Never trusted 'im

  • @miro
i wouldn't dare watch it either, but rest assured some abattoirs are sub par and not killing animals humanely

score wise i'd say the animals are losing..... badly

  • Yeah. Bit crap having your name hijacked by a racist shithead, isn't it?

    http://www.lfgss.com/events/298/?offset=75#comment11773273

  • no i'm the real TS

  • You've lost it now. Gone forever. Wars start over stuff like this

  • TeenState

  • But both methods are used after the animal has been stunned. Most meat slaughtered in the UK is stunned first. I don't think there is much to get worked up about. Once the animal is stunned, I'm not too fussed whether it is shot with a bolt gun or has its throat slit.

Apparently, it is only a small % that is not stunned: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/may/08/what-does-halal-method-animal-slaughter-involve
