Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Is the hooded wind jacket a good commuting (under 10 miles) solution even in the rain?

Hopefully a couple of people have bought them in the sale and will be kind enough to report back...

Yeah but I'd go for the full jacket because I'll get more use out of it and that blue would be hard to wear as it could clash.

Little sweaty but good. Under arm vents help keep cool but can get a little moist inside. Looks smart as well

have been moving away from rapha slowly but surely. a couple of essentials as the deep wntrr bibs and soft shell aquired but much rather spend money on some small batch ltd kit than overpriced basic stuff. not saying that i haven't spent before but won't in the future.

but still the orange transfer jacket for 80€ seems a good deal for a primaloft jacket, and as i have an old -10% + a friend with enough needs for free shipping, i just might go for it.

At those prices I'm quite tempted by the transfer jacket as a sort of multi purpose cycling jacket. Would it be up to that or is it too warm?
