  • Fusballclub might?

  • We are in Germany and washed all our Rapha in a Miele.

  • Myself I used an Assos gilet and the grand tour gloves for the 30km down from Italy before this coffee. Was a bit chilly in the shade but fine.

  • 1st rule of cycling club, no sweaty helmets on tables ;)

  • Cycle miles to nice cafe.
Eat the Clif bar you had in Your jersey anyway.

  • Similar to Tenderloin - I have black XL PTJ and would like to swap for a L in any colour.

  • Upsize.

  • Brevet Jersey Blue, anyone with a S want to swap to for my XS

  • Does anyone know if the Hardshell Jacket in Chartreuse ever go on sale? Seen a couple rounds of sales now and it's not been discounted.

  • No as Chartreuse is made by Carthusian monks since 1737.

  • Unless you live in Norway, north east america, or Scotland I wouldn't bother with the hardshell. Quite probably the hottest thing I have ever worn.

  • I'd get a PTJ and a goretex jacket.

IF it's raining all day but not cold. MErino layer and gortex.
Raining and cold. PTJ and goretex.
    Not raining but col PTJ
Cold and going down descent. PTJ and goretex.
Possible showers PTJ and maybe goretex if long ride.

    Honestly best combo.

  • IF it's raining all day but not cold. Stay at home.
Raining and cold. Stay at home.
Not raining but col, stay at home.
    Cold. Stay at home.
    Possible showers stay at home.

  • I like the idea of riding down a mountain in a pt jacket. But I'm fecked if I'm riding up one in one. Unless you mean pt jersey. In which case the packable windjacket or racecape is what you want.

I die if I overheat though. So never use the Pt jacket unless I know it will work during the days warmest temp.

  • sell me you ptj then? ;)

  • Think I'll pick up a transfer gilet/jacket, for off the bike duties

  • It was xl and it's gone. I'll likely get a new one at some point in. But I wanted a packable race cape more. As I'm more likely to take that on a long ride.

It's a bit too nice for snowbiking, and I was only able to wear it for a short period after winter proper.

I guess I'll feel different when autumn kicks in.

  • Hottest thing you have worn is your smile xxx

  • Orange transfer jacket now £70, looks like my black one will be returned as soon as it gets here.

  • I wonder if rapha will reconsider their pricing structure after this sale.

The years before, I don't recall seeing them add a ton of additional clearance items, and I definitely have not seen them mark down items a second time within 2 weeks.

$90CAD for a sky pro team jersey... Goes to show you what the true markup is on their goods :)

[edit] I have a 10% refer a friend coupon that i had rapha reinstate 2 weeks ago... might need to stack on some savings.

  • £50 for the gilet, plus I have a £25 off voucher, worth a punt?

  • What size is the black?
