Those coils are shit... RBA or GTFO...

Agreed, I was very disapointed with the mega... Although I'm not a big fan of the protanks, at least their resistance could handle my mecha mods...
On the mega, I had a batch of three 1.8 ohms resistance shorting my mod. These resistance are even worse than the Protank 3's, which were flaky at best. Would not recommend.

You liked it when you tried it though!
On another note, RDNA appears to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Slightly larger than the DNA30, but loads more battery life if using a VCT5. Replaceable batteries is a huge plus as well. and the Aero Mega will sit flush. What you sayin' @Butters? Did you pull the trigger?

Went to the Vape Cafe at lunch today to pick up some liquid as I can no longer taste the earl grey juice I've been running for the past few months.
overall impression is good. The place is quite nicely decorated- I could spend some time in there. Didn't try the coffee so can't comment on that. Guys were nice enough, I like the try before you buy element but they don't seem to have a system to clean/disinfect the trial clearomisers between customers- I might be wrong on this, I hope so otherwise urgghhh!
Prices seem pretty steep, £14 for 17ml of Vaping Birdy.
Won't be going back for more juice unless I'm desperate but might swing by again for a drink and vape.

Kayfun clones FTW
are they any good? For a third of the price of a real Kayfun I might just be tempted.

Nope. Ordered a GP Heron today, so that'll be this month's new toy. Next month probably a Paps to go with it.
I doubt you will regret getting a VS DNAr. What's their resale price like? Genuine kit tends to go for pretty close to what is was new, so it's worth checking if you aren't sure.

There are small rubber tips you put over the vapes (similar to what you get at some Shisha bars). They've done it for me once, and just left me to do it myself once (there's a bunch of them sitting on the counter).
Prices are going to be higher than online, but they're not bad. My protank aero mini 7000 was £3 more than online, I think? Which was actually probably even less once shipping is added.

All I did was ask politely on Facebook and I got a code for £15 off at Grey Haze...
If anyone wants to see if it works for them as well it is vapefest2014
Winning!

I've only had a few rebuildables, mainly Fogger type RBA, a couple of genesis, and a couple of drippers, and they really are good! Rewicking/Recoiling is very easy, it rarely floods, and in terms of taste, Only drippers are better.
I haven't used anything else since I got mine, except my RDA when I'm home coudchasing.
There are a few things to look out for though: Make sure the channels are deep enough to provide liquid to your wick, and make sure the coil posts are well separated for the chimney.
The other cool thing about Kayfuns is that there are a lot of accessories, like clear tanks, micro kits to reduce size, etc...Get yourself any £30 clone, you won't be disapointed.

I haven't personally tried a clone but they get great reviews online, I'd pick up an OG one if you can stretch to it...
Trouble free vaping once you get the knack of getting your wicks right... I find the microcoil building part quite easy now, it just takes a while to find the right gauge of wire/number of coils combo for you... 0.25mm x 7-8 coils for me...

I got my first clone yesterday - a GP Heron knock off. Holy crap - it's amazeballs. Pretty sure I'd like to buy the real thing for the better contacts and improved threading / lack of having to drill out the bell to 3mm to stop the gurgling.
Vapourart want 208EUR for the Heron, 18650 tube and v3 switch. Finding it hard to resist. The clone is fine, but it's not likely to be performing like the real thing. I even like this better than my Kayfun or Origen, neither of which are clones.

Anyone looking for a microstick on here? I have a genuine microstick, a load of 18350 batteries (3 x purple Efest + 3 x red Efest) and a genuine v2 Spheroid that I don't use much any more. It probably doesn't put out as much as a sub ohm dripper obviously, but provides plenty more than most in a form factor that is very, very small if you are happy to change batteries every 4 to 6 hours or so.
I paid £150, but would take £120. Here's the thread I bought it from, including photos:
I didn't drill out the airhole in the end.

Oh and I'll build it at 0.9 ohms (minimum for a Spheroid) for you before it goes out, if you like. Just fill up the fluff and you'll be good for 6 months or so, except for the occasional dry burn.

fuck. dropped my Vamo 18650 extender + end cap down a drain tonight. don't know why I was trying to change batteries out and about. Lifted the drain, but couldn't reach it.
can't even use it with the 18350s now..
rDNA is on the way, but I'm back on the Egos till that arrives.
does anyone happen to have a spare Vamo tube + cap?
I don't give a fuck what color it its

I have a whole spare Vamo V2. You can borrow it for a while if you like, especially if you have an ohms meter to swap.

Can anyone recommend me some good vendors for uk made liquid? New to this vaping thing...

VTC4 came fully charged so just threw the tank on and vaped away. I take it I should be draining the battery fully before recharging?
The details are great, and the mega sits on it perfectly. super happy. hope it lasts for ages.

This is awesome. really. It seems to be happy on 1.6Ω and 8.5W, burns less juice, same flavour and volume of vapour, and battery is lasting and lasting.
I haven't touched it since yesterday, normal usage only and I've got over half battery and about half a tank left. bizzare. would recommend.

It seems a bit hit and miss, individual liquids I would definitely recommend 'Uk ecig store (in Wembley) Tobacco Royale ,'Digby's' Gunpowder-and Druids Brew 'Bread of Heaven' 100%
have tried Vaporlites and Vampire liquids but definitely NOT for me, and after a while Digby's Hooligan smells a bit sort of odd like 'too sweet sugary sweets' same with RY4 starts nice then does the too sweet sugary sweets thing again, (in my opinion)
It seems there's a trend for 26650 mods. I keep seeing reviews and they're just so effing huge!
30mm is massive, but i'm slightly tempted admittedly...
