Now available again, mashton's spending his pennies on partying not denim:
I have a pair of never worn Joe McCoy 906 34W 36L that don't fit me and I can't return. They are awesome, I know very little about jeans, I have just done some googling and apparently they retail for £260....(!) if anyone is interested for £150 ono I will post photos, they are awesome but too small for me.

Still waiting for the black on black Gustins I ordered back in 2007 (or so it feels like). Think they're due next week. Slightly worried that the none more black (warp and weft) will be overkill.
Not strictly denim but has anyone ordered any jacket soff Gustin? I'm quite liking the waxed cotton trucker...

Off to theatre tonight, gotta make an effort... They're not that bad actually... Thinking of dyeing my Type 2 Joe McCoy to match with them...

So my nicest pair of raw denim are now eighteen months without a wash and they, umm, smell.
What should I do?
Freezer? Wash? Dry clean?

Cold wash in the bath with a bit of antibacterial washing up liquid, many cold rinses or cold wash cycle with baby friendly detergent...

Non-selvedge question. Curse me, I don't care.
With the demise of Interstate and the Hackney outlet I am bereft of my usual supply of traditional Carhartt workwear trousers. The Neal St joint only seems to sell the shitty tapered-leg end of the catalogue for, like, young folks.
Where can I go? Or what other trousers can compare?

Remember to hang them properly after.
Usually give mine a gentle steam after to get that shape back

Can anyone advise on the fit of the Gustin slim (or whatever the fit between straight and skinny is called)? The straights I have are nice but definitely on the wide side. I have been told I have "rugby player calves" and my thighs aren't slim either. Tempted to just order a pair anyway but would be bummed if after 12 weeks or whatever I couldn't get them on... Anyone got exact measurements?

^^Hahaha. Not far off.
Didn't see the fit guide. My f*cking work laptop makes it all but impossible to see any website as it was intended. Cheers.

I have a couple of pairs of jeans I sadly have to sell - love them both but my thighs (and let's be honest, my waist) can't cope with the cut and I do end up looking slightly like the guy above.
Left: Natural Selection Japanese denim, 32L, nice pale colour. These are beautiful jeans but just aren't comfortable. Bought from TK Maxx, £20
Right: Gustin #110 USA Custom Dyed Selvedge, 12.75oz, Red/Base/Blue - Slate, 33 Slim. These are definitely tighter around the waist than the 32" Natural Selection jeans. I'd say due to Gustin sizing that it's probably more like a normal 31", if such a thing is possible. Only worn once, but there are some faint white marks on the rear pocket pictured which were on it when I got them. https://www.weargustin.com/campaigns/570 I paid $118 posted, reluctantly yours for £55.
