That server overwriting error I mentioned earlier - happened again - thankfully only lost a torch this time round. It's a server setting - there are several of them and they have Persistent in the title. Avoid or you risk the same thing. I also spawned into a completely empty server (no zombies, no loot) and explored the town hall up in the new city in the north. Looks fun. Going to get myself together this week after I submit a few treatments and then head up there with gear..

I get the feeling I may be nearer 48 131... im outside the Airstrip but by some Military barracks... which always have decent weapons. Good place to get to, I will prob be on from 8. Follow the coast road round maybe?

The laptop is running a Radeon HD 6750M 1GB and I've got an SSD and 16GB RAM so it should be ok. Just need to get Windows. Ugh.

Chris, I've logged off by the southern airstrip and I've got a good amount of kit on me for the first time ever! I probably can't play tonight though.

I'm currently in Zelenogorsk with an SKS, an AKM with 3 x 75 round drums, medkit, protective case, smersh backpack full of ammo (if anyone sees a smersh vest, hang onto it for me!) 3 water bottles and a few splints.

I've got plenty of 45acp ammo if someone needs (I've decided to try out the Amphibia for a while. Silent zombie head shots seem a good idea. Just need a magazine for it now. I'm also on the lookout for a hacksaw so I can saw off a Mosin and keep it in my bags. (Has anyone tried the sawed-off Mosin and how does it compare to the Longhorn for range/accuracy/recoil etc? Also can you wrap sawed-off with the burlap camouflage like you can the full length Mosin?)

But all of this is moot outside a group situation so let's jot down some dates for the next one.

Sawing off a Mosin works? That's insane. I'll keep my eyes open for a hacksaw then.
