With the old models it was a good idea to size up as the seat tube angle necessitated an inline seat post which knocked a cm or so off the reach.
So I don't know if the seat tube angle has changed in the latest version of the frame but fwiw I'm about your height and am happy on a medium from the previous generation.
would people recommend to go slightly bigger or smaller with pomps?
I can't test ride one as no one I know has one and I can only buy online direct.
my current bike is a road bike, 51cm top tube, 120mm stem with risers.
I'm 170mm tall.
So i'm looking at either the small or medium pomp, looking at getting a 100mm stem and running compact 42cm drops.
the small is 53.5cm and the medium 55.1..
they say to knock 3cm off conventional sizes?
If I go the small, I will have a lot of seat post and it will be a larger drop from seat - bars, this will make it more compact/faster/twitchy?
cheers
