Putting the finishes on my hill climb build ready for race season!
Currently weighing in at 6.5KG but could probably knock a bit more off. Stripped Dolan track champ, Full carbon forks, PX front and Navigator rear. Just fitted some campag centaur cranks with a 39t chainring so I can get the gear inch down!

Finally got Paul Fiddy's old HED frame together. Maiden voyage was to the pub, so I'm sure he'd appreciate that! It's even still got the Roberto Bicicletta sticker on the ST.
The 105 11 speed group seems pretty solid. Shifts nicely! Will make a good wet weather steed.Hope you're not RIP'ing, and are still causing chaos wherever you be, old man!

Ace. I've been planning to build a fixed TT bike based around a Pre Cursa for a while but haven't got round to it yet. Also thinking about entering a few hill climbs this season... so this bike is added inspiration.

I reckon a PC would be a well good budget fixed TT bike. Got my first HC of the season tonight, but going geared.

Has anyone got a spare 90mm black Thomson x2 either 10 or 6 degrees?
-
• #96190
Glad to see that back on the road, always loved that bike!
-
• #96191
I haz 90mm 10 degree X4
-
• #96192

Finished for now, had a go at harlequin but just didn't like it so went for black tape instead. Still thinking if i should go for tan walls? tried them on but think the frame is colourful and black just suits it better....
-
• #96194
Thought i'd add in the harlequin, was pleased with the job but man was it hard work...
-
• #96195
I'd stick to black tyres. I think it looks perfect the way it is now. Good work!
-
• #96196
Nicely done.

lush.
black makes the frame pop, no tan-wall x -

Here is my Rossin received today which has made me very unhappy because .......
having come to me as a darkish blue frame with no forks and stood at the back of the queue until I got a set of yellow Rossin forks with a steerer that was too short and a full set of transfers I finally sent it all off for a new steerer tube and to be painted and chromed. I also got a saddle for it in a snakeskin pattern that went quite well with the pantographed Cinelli stem and bars with black to white fade tape. Why is all this making me unhappy? Because neither I nor the bike shop doing the repaint and chrome have no freakin idea why it is ice blue when every bit of paperwork from me says Pearlescent White and the man who did it says "Oh aye, I remember that's what you wanted but someone thought you had changed your mind". They say they will repaint it but it will take weeks (as in me asking for it in 2 weeks was taken as a joke), they have no idea where to get more transfers and doubt they can get it ready in time to go in the container of my effects going to NZ when we leave the UK in a couple of months. Brilliant.
