^^Is that Victoria Park?
When I used to work there, the bicycle coppers used to do part of their training there, on the side near the Gunmakers pub.
Part of the training was getting up to a good old lick, then leaping off the bike and "continuing the chase on foot".
Was pretty fun to watch, we used to bet on who'd fall over or skin their shins.
