• 2 more weeks of training to go before the taper starts for Ironman Wales, i managed 23hrs and 38 minutes of training last week, it was very tempting to just go out and do the final 22 minutes to make it a full 24 hours of training but i'll leave that for my final week of training.

    the effect of the last 9 months of training is really beginning to show, as despite feeling knackered, i was still able to push all day on the bike on saturday and still get off the bike and push out a 22 minute 5 k run.

    A slightly easier week of training this week, with a bit more of a focus on running and swimming before I go all out for the final week, so back to 1-2 sessions per day rather than 3-4!
