I have an SLR TT, Adamo Road and Adamo Race saddles. I prefer the Adamo Road out of all of those.

• #7328
Cheers but no, I'm after the pads and pad mounts only. I think they're bigger than the S-Works pads and they have two bolts for clamping so they might be less inclined to rotate.

Just get whatever Adamo someone is selling cheapish on the TT forum before you shell out for the TT one.

Call me Captain Wetlip, but I've never really liked the idea of second hand saddles. So I've bought an Adamo TT. If I don't like it, I can sell it on the TT forum...

Second hand is aces. Buy, if do not like then sell at same price.

Can we get a name change over here? Captain Wetlip in da house. ;)

I dunno, it's a lot to live up too... ;)

I've an adamo TT that I'm going to remove from the spares box.
Does anyone want. Black. As new condition. £100 -

I want to try an Adamo TT. Do you not get on with it?
Let me check my bank balance.

I really liked it. Would do 6h rides on it.
Just spare. -

1st 12 hr done. 245miles with wind and rain to help.
:-) -
• #7338
Good one. Anything over 20mph is a result regardless of conditions.

I'm still not happy with the brakes on the Shiv. Time to give up or look at Magura’s RT8TT?
You will need:

Go back to Dura Ace brakes?
-
• #7341
I've never had DA brakes on the Shiv.
They don't make them for the twin post design. Or they do but they're different or something. -
• #7343
I asked about them in another thread. Apparently they don't fit on the TT posts like the Shiv has.

Hounslow Sporting 27, 2pm, Saturday 18th October
You are invited to enter the fourth edition of this event.
There will be a modest award for the best on scratch and on handicap for fixed wheel riders.
Any type of machine may be used, but results and any prize will only be for rides done on fixed. The course consists of three laps of the Gracious Pond circuit (between Chertsey and Chobham) - it's hilly enought to make things interesting. I haven't got past results in front of me, but from memory the fastest so far has been Nic Stagg with 1 hour 5 minutes. Illy, late of this forum, won the first edition with a short 6 on a borrowed bike in very wet conditions.
It will be possible to enter on the line (as long as you arrive 30 minutes before the start), but if you wish to be included in the handicap you must enter in advance and let me know your recent and/or best performances at 10 and 25 miles.
Just send me a pm to enter (small entry fee payable on the day), or if you need more information.

Interesting...

For next season, my old man want to drop his base bar without changing his elbow cup/extension position. Current set up is an old Vision thing that's this shape but clip-on rather than integrated
Critical parameters are an upturn at the end of the bullhorn and at least an extra 50mm height difference between bullhorn and elbow cups. I'm leaning towards a Deda Crono Nero Low and Zipp Vuka Alumina Clip top mount with the 50mm spacers. Anything else I should contemplate?

3T Brezza II? Nice but pricey.
-
• #7349
USE TR2 with base bar of your choice, quite a bit cleaner than the Zipps.
-
• #7350
Brezza base bar has no turn up at the end
Got some spare 50mm Vuka risers/spacers, but from the look of it you won't be wanting them.
