I've seen this mentioned before but I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
Links are now converted to microcosm.app or whatever which means you can't see what the URL is. The solution was to hover over with the mouse and it would show in the tooltip. However, these get cut off so you can only see a partial URL, like the example.
Firefox (or Seamonkey) on Windows.

Could this be your connection? There are a lot of external images and I tested on my girlfriend's Samsung phone and they worked fine.
Still not loading properly on full page in chrome 36.0 on galaxy tab2 android 4.04, going directly to comment https://www.lfgss.com/comments/11759955/ displays link text without image.
It works fine on samsung browser and dolphin.

Er... the author put a link in the comment, not an image.
The link does go to an image, but he didn't use the
[ img ]
BBCode, or the![]()
Markdown or the<img src="" />
HTML tag.All he did was put the link in. And if that is the case, we just turn it into a hyperlink.
Edit: I've just wrapped it in an image tag.

Today is *so*emphasized text much better than "trending", which was rubbish even if it did follow Newton Law of Cooling.

Looking forward to the 'hide' function going live, too much noise at the moment...
When will it be ready? Will I be able to hide users as well?
-
• #882
No, you're an emphasized text.

I wasn't able to log in from any device since the site went over to Microcosm - everytime I logged in, I was logged straight back out - that was a bit odd. All good now I think

I have to say now I'm getting into it i am loving the following tab.
I like the highlighted bit for when you're mentioned and the mini replies thing, and having PM's pop up in there too.
Really do like.

Nice, the transition has gone really well! Viewing a thread now takes you exactly where you last left it. Loving the forum again!

Hi, I have a request for you @Velocio .
When I reach the bottom of the page the eg. 'Page 36 of 36' box is very light text, it's such poor contrast that I have to look at it twice to make sure I'm not missing out any memes or popcorn. This may in part be due to my actually quite reduced vision (fairly recent eye surgery) but the light grey text is hard to read, though it's very pretty. This is also a bit of an issue on the grey text around the 'post a reply' box in general. I don't post much so have only just noticed this as I am typing.
Also, there's still too much white space between each individual post, I'm scrolling harder than the Dead Sea.
Aside from that, lovely work

This request/comment is supported by WCAG AA and AAA guidelines as indicated by Snook's contrast checker:
http://snook.ca/technical/colour_contrast/colour.htmlUnfortunately because the text is so small it's tricky to get a legal contrast that isn't basically black, losing the subtlety of its appearance :/
VB, you should make the font 18pt size instead. (I keed, I keed.)

Firefox (or Seamonkey) on Windows. This for me too. I wasn't sure if it was a problem at my end or in microcosm

Does anyone know how to upload pictures on the forum now these days? usually the copy and paste from a website works perfectly but now its coming up in text from...
-
• #892
To upload, either:
- Click the "upload a file" at the bottom of a comment area.
- Drag your files into the grey box below the comment area.
To embed from other places, either:
- Use BBCode:
[ img ] url [ / img ]
(remove spaces) - Use Markdown:
![]( url )
(remove spaces) - Use HTML:
<img src="url" />
Most image embedding sites will give you BBCode or Markdown, some will give you HTML.
- Click the "upload a file" at the bottom of a comment area.

No, the scope is wrong.
Everything that appears in the right hand bar is to do with whatever appears in the main content to the left.
"Mark Everything Read" makes sense on the home page, as "everything" is to the left.
The Following page shows only a subset of things on the site, and some of those things are not even affected by that button (private messages). Which makes it the wrong place to put the button.
The very simple rule: I'll consider things for the right hand bar only when they are related to the left hand content.
i.e. "Would you consider putting a list of people browsing a forum in the right hand bar on a forum page?" Yes, because it relates to that.
i.e. "Would you consider putting a list of prople browsing the forum on the Following page?" No, because it doesn't relate to that.
And before you ask, no I'm not going to make 10 different ways of doing something either. Keeping things super simple is hard, but the benefits in usability are enormous.

I already whined about this somewhere, but the today and following pages not showing which forum the conversation is in is really making things hard. At least on the following page I am familiar with the threadversations but on the 'Today' page it is always surprising.
For example "court take down monday" is, apparently, a polo thing. When I clicked on it I thought LFGSS was getting lawyers sending take down notices.
Like the fact that its changing all the time. Guessing trending was too twatter so now its today.
All good.
