Yeah, I can imagine that's not confidence inspiring.

I've been using a Deda 1" with shim to 1 1/8" stem. I gave it a go half expecting problems. To my surprise it's been solid. I used fsa assembly paste on the shim and stem and grease on the converter/steerer tube interface.

I received this back form paint the other day. Still waiting on a few parts to build it up but im really excited as an ottrott is a bike i wanted to ride for many years.

The frame appears mostly dark grey or black even but it also has a blueish tint depending on how the light hits it. Thinking a chorus group and mostly black parts with white tape and saddle, or just all black.

Either keep quill or get threadless forks, don't do the inbetween unless on something like a tourer... Ugly, heavy, ugly...

looks awesome. Current Chorus has ugly red flashes though doesn't it? something black and carbon would be cooler

I have a new last years chorus in the boxes. Think record 10 would be perfect and period correct if one care for that but time to go with 11s now. For good n bad i suppose
