As I understand it cats bring in mice or whatever because they think humans are rubbish cats. It's a generous act of largesse.

Awwww. What a handsome cat.

That cat is beautiful

Is that in Herne Hill? There's a really friendly cat that looks exactly like that one on Stradella Road.
-
• #2782
Nope, she is in camden. Not very friendly, it takes a certain time to capture her attention and trust. She is very active and she has a very toned musculature, as I said before I think she's a Bengal or some of these other breeds having strong genetics with roots coming from wild cats. She jumped that fence higher than 2 meters like nothing and when she is around other cats loose their territory. I guess some dog can loose his eyes too.
She's a hell of a beauty.

its getting worse, the three hoodlums sit at the gate baiting other cats and dogs to attack then the heavy mutt slams into the gate going ballistic scary the hell out of them. The kitten, who isn't even mine and doesn't live here, is using this tactic with kids.
Sitting watching tv and you hear bang, wooooooof, "jesus christ" and a kid runs screaming. Im gonna try and capture it on film. I almost wet myself laughing at the local snot nosed dick of a kid clear 3ft of pavement to escape. -

Domestic situation thankfully seems to have resolved itself. Two days with him not waking me up incessantly, lots of cat snogs and cuddles. Another dead mouse. All is right with the world. Phew.

There is no stopping them until there is blood... lots of it!!

• #2786
well he's brought you 2 mice as presents, that means he really loves you and that he was sorry for pissing you off...
Patch and I have been having synchronise sleeps / naps. She would go under the bed for a nap, I would be in my bed, and so far, we have been waking up, getting out of bed / coming our from under the bed at the same time. It's cool!!! :-P

Not all at the same time I hope? :/

We do this. For hours. I think he only stirs when I do, rather than some weird psychic thing.
He's ever hopeful that I'll forget I already fed him...

Mine does 1 of 2 things:
Sits on the chair next to my bed waits patiently for me to wake up, this usually happens after endless attempts to tap my hands, sniff my face, rub her head against me, attack my feet, sit next to me, all because she wants some cuddles, she doesn't like going under the duvet and I don't like sitting up whenever the cat wants a lap to sit on. I win every time so far..
Goes under the bed at a certain time of the day for a nap, I would follow... and when I wake up, so would come out at the same time and we would have a big stretch at the same time. I think it's me copying my cat, not the other way around.

@Miss_Mouse No! Of course not! I brushed his teeth first ;)

In the days when I used to regularly take an afternoon nap, Sam would come and sit in front of me around 2.15 pm as if to say 'go and lie down, I want to snuggle next to you', and as soon as I went to bed, he would be next to me. He also used to do this before I had severe migraine attacks, as if he could sense that I wasn't well and needed to lie down. Most afternoons now he can be found asleep on my bed, with or without me. But by the way he purrs and dribbles (he is such a dribbler - every time you stroke him he dribbles) he definitely prefers me there. Or I'm soppy enough to think that.

So after taking advice and buying the cat mate water fountain, the cat absolutely loves it and drinks water freely. At least I don't need to worry about her water intake any longer.
Unforgettable moments…
