There are 2 playable courts and one awaiting a wood delivery (oh yeah) which may happen in the morning.

Also, fuck the safety, I don't reckon you could hurt yourself beyond a burn on a rotor, but get a guard to stop the fucker getting bent.

I would support an unadulterated NAH v4.2 ruleset for familiatity's sake, since it's what we used at Bristol for the UK champs, and it doesn't contain v4.3(?)'s new rotor guard rule, which people may not be aware of and may not have time to address before their matches tomorrow.
I didn't know about the rotor guard rule until the morning of the Wildcard in Padova. I was informed it was in the "current" v.4.4, however I can't find a v4.4 online, so maybe it was a ruse to help local producer Salvo sell more guards...

There is no version 4.4, and there is no rule on rotor guards (as yet). I like the idea of that rule, but it's certainly not from the NAH.

(I'm guessing if there was such a rule, the Euro organisers wrote their own 4.4)

I'm updating the crease rule* right now to reflect some changes after playtesting, and then releasing it publicly. John want me to let you know.

Just to let you all know, the fabulous Fuchsia and helper (extraoraire Salman) have cooked up a storm!!

Tomorrow at 1pm we will be serving an unbelievable Cous Cous salad with hummus in pitta bread.

On Sunday at the same time you can get stuck in to a moreish Pasta pesto salad!

Fuchsia has really outdone herself and the food is deeelicious, so EAT!!

We are running the tournament this year without any sponsors, proper DIY grassroots awesomeness so anything we sell on the day simply pays for the tournament to happen. The suggested donation for a feed is £2 and any more than that is great!

Nothing can pay for the time and effort put in by volunteers so a BIG BIG thanks to everyone who came down today and who has bossed it behind the scenes so far!

We are ready to roll! See you all tomorrow!!
