  • Good luck on restoring it! The result could be stunning, I hope you have the original forks!

  • Thank's I'll do my very very best, & yes I do have the original forks.

  • Do you have a picture of the same model with wheels on it?

  • Ahhhh I am soooo jealous.
Dem aero welds tho. Good luck man, gonna look brill. Subscribed

  • Could end up looking somewhat like this if you're brilliant ( yes I know it has track ends)

  • There were track and road versions of these, but the red frame above seems to be a Rossin Ghibli road frame converted to a pursuit by Olli Erkkilä.

The frame has a lot of potential, unfortunately filler used by Rossin doesn't seem to age too well. One I used to own also had some cracks in the filler, it was a similar frame right down to internal rear brake cable routing. Don't worry too much about the shape of the flanges, the frames were hand made anyway, I doubt there were two exactly alike.

  • Great info cheers. Love the picture :-)

  • Blb has some Rossin bottle & cages like the one in the pictures if you want a full restore... Not sure how much they'll ask.

  • Thanks I have already got one NOS in Box.

  • That's looking good. Will you smooth the webbing with filler?

  • Don't forget to take pictures of the filling process! Uber curious!

  • I'm using a fine filler/stopper rather that the standard, I've purchased a 1.8 kilo tin as I think there is going to be quite a bit needed!

  • Surely the frame itself can't weigh more than 1.8 kilos!

  • Aaah interesting, thanks.

  • I'm holding my breath. Very promising so far.
